Welcome Lex Nguyen!

We are proud to welcome Lex Nguyen, who joins us as an Operating Partner at 1982 Ventures. Lex is currently the Corporate Partnerships Lead, Google Cloud, Southeast Asia at Google.

Lex brings over 20 years of experience in technology and strategy across Asia Pacific.  He previously was the Deputy CIO of Sovico Group, Director at VNG Corporation and held regional roles at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft.

Lex will support our portfolio and LPs in:
✅ Building go-to-market strategies and partnerships in Vietnam
✅ Accelerating corporate revenue growth across Southeast Asia
✅ Helping kickstart corporate and governmental partnerships in the region

Lex has been deeply engaged in the startup ecosystem as a VC scout and founder advisor — making him a true champion for founders.

At 1982 Ventures, Lex will work closely with our portfolio companies to scale smarter, strengthen partnerships, and unlock new opportunities across Southeast Asia.
